Investors can now obtain up to ten loans on non-owner occupied property. 12/1/08 Fannie Mae had issued a requirement of “no more than four loans” which eliminated most long term investors from the current market. Effective 2/6/09, they changed the requirement to “no more than ten loans”.

The qualification process is more stringent, usually 70% loan to value ratio, income verification, etc. Interest rates are in the low 5’s for investment property currently.
